This is one of the many places in the museum that is designed for interactive learning. Most of the exhibits have a room or station for creation and play to enhance the art.
This room is a play space for children of all ages including books, artmaking, blocks, dress up, and even a dollhouse version of the museum.

These notebooks are featured in a gallery space and designed to allow a viewer to create a poem inspired by the art.
As I sit here in a coffee shop lined with posters of events, white birch tree wallpaper, and hipsters staring fastidiously at their apple laptops, I cannot help but feel at home. I'm munching on my vegetarian sandwich, drinking my iced green tea, and musing over the many ways that Denver has already surprised me - today being no exception. I will definitely share in more detail the incredible museums that I visited today, but for now I want to share the incredible images that were taken at the Denver Art Museum by photographer extraordinaire - Lauren Engel.
